Pattern
I decided to knit another ax since I was unhappy about being unable to finish my first one. It’s quite a lot of fun to walk around with a comically sized knitted ax. I recommend it.

I’ve been in love with this pattern (Where the Wild Sheep Roam by Ann Myhre) for months and finally started knitting it a week ago. Just in time for it to be 70 degrees today (not that I’m complaining.) I’m doing the 18 month size because the next size up is 3 years and I can’t wait that long for Pickle to wear it, so he’d better grow slowly and/or summer had better not linger. Timing is close enough as it is.

"What I’d Rather Be Doing" by Kjersti Faret

A personal piece. Watercolor, gouache and ink.

This was created because I was feeling stressed. I needed to make a picture about what I’d rather be doing than preparing to graduate, doing tedious written humanities homework, seeing the buildings outside my window, etc. (Sometimes I feel like I’m a country girl trapped in the city)

Also, hello color. I haven’t seen you in a while.
